Say Hello to our Crane’s Mill Neighbor of the Week Bobbie made her way across the country, from Los Angeles, to Clifton, the Hamptons, Florida, Fort Lee, and Crane’s Mill in West Caldwell!   Barbara “Bobbie” Silverstein grew up in Los Angeles and graduated from UCLA with a major in International Relations. Her late husband, an ophthalmologist, brought her east where he was attending medical school.   She has two sons and one daughter, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Say Hello to our Crane’s Mill Neighbor of the Week A successful engineer, family man, avid swimmer, and Crane’s Mill resident! Ed Luckenbach is an independent living resident who lives in one of our freestanding cottage homes. Ed moved to Crane’s Mill in 2013 with his cherished late wife, Ruth. Mr. Luckenbach enjoyed a long and notable career as an engineer for Exxon. Ed stays very active and involved in our community and can be seen daily swimming laps in the indoor pool–his favorite activity. She was the former chairwoman for the activities committee, and enjoys quilting, knitting and sewing—she is one of the leaders of our Thursday morning needlework group. Say Hello to our Crane’s Mill Neighbor of the Week Coach Frank Verducci was a staple of Barringer High School’s football program. This week’s Neighbor is Frank Verducci, a friendly resident often seen in Towne Square alongside his wife, Joan. Say Hello to our Crane’s Mill Neighbor of the Week Volunteering and keeping active are high priorities for this Crane’s Mill resident. Jean Weber is an independent living resident who is considered a friend to many on campus. Jean enjoys being on the landscape committee, she’s an avid gardener, and enjoys the Cranes Mill garden club.
