Dining is always a special event at Crane’s Mill.

From family gatherings and holidays to fun lunches with friends, food plays a major role in all our lives. With that in mind, Crane’s Mill continuously works with its residents to ensure a dining experience that exceeds expectations in taste, quality, variety, and service.

Candleberry Dining Room

Our formal dining room is akin to a top area restaurant, complete with hosts and hostesses and a friendly wait staff. Residents can arrive any time from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., and are seated promptly without a reservation. Up to five courses are offered every evening, with a rotating menu of chef’s specials and a set menu of resident favorites.

The Heartwood Café

Our main café is a feast for the eyes, complete with a myriad of food options, all prepared directly in front of our residents and guests. We offer a pizza oven, salad bar, coffee and drink bar, sandwich station, grill area, dessert case, and more.

The Corner Market

Residents love the convenience of having this mini-market on campus. It’s stocked with milk, eggs, butter, juice, freshly prepared sandwiches, frozen entrees, desserts, snacks, and more of our residents’ favorites.

Hungry for More?

Additional dining spaces include Center Stage, which is home to a state-of-the-art display dining kitchen and has played host to celebrity cooking talent including Chef Cary Neff (The Today Show, Oprah) and Chef Bal Arneson (The Cooking Channel’s Spice Goddess).

Flexible Meal Plans

Every three months, residents receive a set amount of flex dollars to spend as they wish. The amount is enough to cover dinner every night in the Candleberry Dining Room. All three meals are available a la carte in the Heartwood Café and vary in pricing.
