Crane’s Mill Neighbor of the Week – Coach Frank Verducci
Say Hello to our Crane’s Mill Neighbor of the Week
Coach Frank Verducci was a staple of Barringer High School’s football program.
This week’s Neighbor is Frank Verducci, a friendly resident often seen in Towne Square alongside his wife, Joan. Frank always has a story to share or a piece of advice to offer, as seen in this photo from last year’s “Seniors’ Advice to the Seniors” series.
Mr. Verducci is a retired Newark teacher, and was a well-known very successful football coach, serving as head coach for Barringer High School in Newark in the 60s and 70s.
“A winner never quits, and a quitter never wins. We learned this at home and in our schools, along with life’s lessons and experiences. This leads to when the going gets tough, the tough get going … so keep going!!”
