Crane’s Mill Valentine’s Day Resident Social and Dance

Take a look at some fun photos from our Valentine’s Day celebration! February 14th was a love-ly day at Crane’s Mill! Residents gathered for a very special afternoon social which included baked treats, chocolate covered pretzels and a chocolate fountain—perfect for dipping fresh strawberries. Crane’s Mill Residents Enjoy Active, Healthy Days with Friends While Northern New Jersey Faces Coldspell

While the Northeast copes with lows in the teens, Crane’s Mill residents enjoy highs with friends. As late January rears it’s ugly head here in Northern New Jersey, our residents’ social lives are heating up! They are staying active, healthy and engaged with one another and the friendly staff here at Crane’s Mill. This morning, our Activities Director lead a fun morning exercise class in Hinman Hall. Located in Towne Square, Hinman Hall is a short, indoor walk from every Crane’s Mill apartment, so it’s no wonder that the class was very well-attended. Trail Keeper Mike Mazur Loans Us His Amazing Nature Photo Collection

Incredible outdoor photographs from in and around the Crane’s Mill campus in West Caldwell, New Jersey Mike Mazur is a man who is always on the move. As a nature enthusiast and Trail Keeper here at Crane’s Mill, he guides walking tours of the grounds every Friday. Since Crane’s Mill is a Certified Wildlife Habitat, each of those (approximately) 52 Fridays are filled all sorts of weather, colors, sights, sounds, wildlife and more. Indoor Heated Pool and Hot Tub on a Snowy Northern New Jersey Day

“Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!” That’s an easy song to sing when you’re relaxing in the hot tub or taking a morning water aerobics class in a heated, indoor pool! Yes, it’s a snowy day today here in West Caldwell, New Jersey. Fall Cooking Demo—Thanksgiving Comes Early This Year at Crane’s Mill

Imagine watching your favorite cooking show…and being able to smell and taste the food! Yesterday afternoon at Crane’s Mill, a lucky group of residents and guests were able to do exactly that at our special Fall Cooking Demo. Hosted by our Executive Chef Peter Day, those in attendance enjoyed a fun, interactive demonstration complete with a sample of each delicious course. World-class service, fine dining and resort-style amenities are what Crane’s Mill is known for providing. But it’s when times are tough when the community’s spirit shines the brightest. Over the past day and a half, our area was hit hard by what many are calling a superstorm, monster storm or even “Frankenstorm.” Describe her as you will, “Sandy” surely wreaked havoc, and our hearts go out to our friends and loved ones affected by the storm. 2nd Annual Community Health Fair—Over 100 Guests Enjoyed a Day of Health Fun at Crane’s Mill

On Saturday, September 15th, over 100 guests along with Crane’s Mill residents and staff members enjoyed a day filled with fun, exercise and health screenings at the 2nd Annual Crane’s Mill Community Health Fair. Three top area hospitals (HUMC Mountainside, Morristown Medical Center and Saint Barnabas) provided a variety of different screenings to make sure our guests stay on top of their health and wellness. Other experts in attenendence included area Chriopracto Dr. Marco Ferrucci, Freedom Home Healthcare, LifeChoice Hospice, and vision & hearing specialist Dr. David Gurian. Crane’s Mill Casino Day—The Excitement of the Vegas Strip Comes to West Caldwell, NJ!

Chips were stacked. Cards were shuffled. Sinatra music filled the room. Las Vegas? Atlantic City? Actually … Hinman Hall at Crane’s Mill! That was the scene of yesterday’s “Casino Day” celebration. Hinman Hall was transformed into a casino complete with tuxedoed dealers and played host to dozens of guests for a day of fun and excitement. Games included Blackjack, Roulette, a big money wheel and three dynamic slot machines.
