Residents’ December Calendar Filled with Entertainment, Trips, and More

Have you seen the December Millstream calendar yet? This month is filled with all sorts of activities aimed at entertaining, educating, and engaging our residents. The month kicked off with a trip to the Frelinghuysen Arboretum to view their Gingerbread Wonderland Display, our annual horse & carriage event featuring breakfast with Santa, and the long-running tradition of the Crane’s Mill resident chorus concert and tree lighting. Don’t miss the August edition of the Millstream calendar, featuring hundreds of on- and off-campus activities! The July Millstream Calendar Features Entertainment, Exercise, and More!

This month, the Millstream features a wide array of activities carefully planned by our Director of Community Programming. In July, there are a number of great activities. This morning, July 8, you’ll see our Men’s Breakfast in the Heartwood Cafe. It’s a well-attended, lively breakfast that takes place once a month, and has brought together friends new and old. Each Saturday, the Cherry Blossom Lounge will be abuzz for Saturday with the Yankees—a fun way to watch our community’s favorite team! Live Tonight in Hinman Hall: Reeds, Rhythm and All That Brass!

Residents gear up for another exceptional night of live entertainment at Crane’s Mill! Tonight at 7:15, after dinner in the Candleberry Dining Room winds down, Hinman Hall (just across Towne Square from the dining room) will transform into a live music venue as Crane’s Mill welcomes Reeds, Rhythm and All That Brass! Reeds, Rhythm and All That Brass is a “17-piece jazz-swing dance band with vocals. They play the classic big-band repertoire, ranging from Ellington, Basie, and Goodman to Sinatra, Darin, and Ray Charles. Each month, the Crane’s Mill activities calendar is filled with fun programs, exercise, trips, outings, classes, discussion groups, live entertainment, and so much more! Today, after Happy Hour in the Cherry Blossom Lounge and a restaurant-style dinner in the Candleberry Dining Room, residents will enjoy another fantastic live program featuring resident favorites The Belle Tones! The Millstream is updated each month with an array of resident activities, trips, programs, and more. This month, there are countless activities in the Millstream calendar—truly something for everyone! This week, patrons of the arts (we have many at Crane’s Mill) are in their glory. Yesterday, the Harmonium Choral Society performed to a packed house right on campus in Hinman Hall.
