At Crane’s Mill, specialized staff, programming, clubs, and committees are dedicated to providing the technology and support needed so that all residents can remain active and healthy. Examples include: The Telesensory Machine in our library magnifies text and images up to 50 times to help those with low vision or vision impairment. Fred Miller’s Lectures-In-Song Comes to Crane’s Mill

Pianist/Singer/Narrator Fred Miller presents his musical & anecdotal overview of the great American songwriter’s life & career. On Tuesday, January 15, residents will be treated to a wonderful musical lecture presented by Fred Miller. In this special presentation, Mr. Miller will focus on the life’s work of Jerome Kern. Now Hear This … A Lecture on Hearing and Hearing Loss

Visit Crane’s Mill for this special interactive medical lecture. A LECTURE ON HEARING AND HEARING LOSS. Dr. William Aber, an audiologist with over 35 years of experience, will conduct a lecture on hearing and hearing loss. His presentation will include causes of hearing loss, prevention, and the newest advances in rehabilitation, including treatment, surgery and the latest advances in hearing aids. The discussion will also include sudden hearing loss, dizziness or vertigo, and ringing in the ears.
