Today and Tomorrow Feature a String of Fun Programs at Crane’s Mill and Beyond

Every month, our Millstream calendar is filled with fun events ranging from activities and exercise to live entertainment and outings. When we took a look at today and tomorrow on the activities calendar, it was too fun not to share with our readers! Today, July 30, features some residents favorites such as stretch class, needleworks, lap swimming, and Catholic mass. Coming Monday, May 18 – WomanSONG Intergenerational Chorus

We’re excited to announce that the WomanSONG Intergenerational Chorus & Metropolitan Woodwind Ensemble will perform live for our residents in Hinman Hall! The chorus is directed by Fran DePalma-Iozzi of Caldwell, and the woodwind ensemble features Louis Iozzi of Caldwell and cellist Allegra Whiting of West Caldwell. Residents gear up for another exceptional night of live entertainment at Crane’s Mill! Our February 2015 Millstream Activities Calendar is packed with fun! This month’s calendar includes a multitude of live stage shows, both on campus and off! Successful Aging at Crane’s Mill

Crane’s Mill, a senior living community in Essex County, New Jersey, is committed to the successful aging of its residents. The Crane’s Mill staff is continuously searching for new ways to ensure our residents are able to stay active and healthy throughout their retirement. There are examples of this type of commitment to successful aging all around the campus. For instance, in our library, there is a Telensory Machine, which magnifies text and images in books up to 50 times their original size. Second Annual Crane’s Mill Easter Egg Hunt

Kids of all ages had a blast at this Saturday’s Easter Egg Hunt! Crane’s Mill played host to residents, their family members, and parents and children from around the area on Saturday, April 12 for the community’s Second Annual Easter Egg Hunt! The action took place in Towne Square, with plastic, candy-filled Easter Eggs hidden all around the main lobby (including some clever placement in planters—see pic below).
