Celebrating Passover and Easter at Crane’s Mill

Holidays for those of all faiths are celebrated at our West Caldwell, New Jersey retirement community. Today marks the first day of Passover for 2022, and the Christian holy day Good Friday. This Sunday, Easter will be celebrated all day long. Catholic Mass with Father O’Connor takes place at 11:15 a.m., and Ecumenical Communion Service with Pastor Nancy begins at 2:00 p.m. A special Easter brunch will also take place on Sunday, and the evening move on Hinman Hall’s big screen is the 1948 Irving Berlin classic, “Easter Parade.” On Monday evening, residents of all faiths will come together in …Read More »

We received this letter about the Crane’s Mill staff and are excited to share with our readers: My name is Margo Adelsberg and my Aunt Elaine Lieb lives at Crane’s Mill. Crane’s Mill residents, staff, and guests joined together for a special Passover dinner on Wednesday, April 16th. Last night’s Interfaith Passover Dinner represented much more than a simple holiday meal. The evening was filled with great friends, laughter, and learning. Our Jewish residents played host to people of many different faiths, leading to a true integration of tradition and culture. Crane’s Mill residents of Jewish faith, along with their friends and family members, will come together this evening for a very special holiday dinner.
