Normal Aging & The Brain

Visit Crane’s Mill for a medical lecture with Michelle Papka, Ph.D.

Michelle Papka, Ph.D., Neuropsychologist and Psychotherapist Specializing in
treatment of the Elderly
will conduct a 45-minute presentation followed by a
15-minute question/answer period exploring the changes that occur in our thinking skills as we age such as: memory, attention, decision-making, and spatial orientation.

Is it “normal” to forget the name of the book you are reading, or where you parked
your car? Come learn about the differences between normal aging and symptoms that may need further evaluation. Are there things that can be done to preserve memory and other thinking skills?  Do games work? Are there pills? Join us for a discussion of these topics and more.
