Beating the Heat: Staying Cool on a Hot Summer Day

Temperatures today and tomorrow are expected to reach the upper 90s, and wouldn’t you know, a glance at the calendar confirms that today is the first official day of summer.

It’s going to be dangerously hot out there, so our friends at The Jersey Tomato Press have shared some useful tips on avoiding heat stroke and heat exhaustion.

How do Crane’s Mill residents beat the heat? Some residents are known for their early morning outdoor exercises. Today, more residents smartly gravitated toward the daily morning indoor exercise class. Offered every day of the week, morning exercise includes resident favorites such as stretch & flex, tai chi, water aerobics, yoga and more!

Following exercise, the Crane’s Mill bus took a group of residents to Shop Rite and some quick errands before the heat of the day.

As the temperatures rise this afternoon, there’s really no need to go outside at all. Every Crane’s Mill apartment home is connected to Towne Square, so the indoor pool, fitness center, dining venues and marketplace are only a short, air conditioned stroll from their doorstep.

When relaxing at home, reading a book or watching TV, residents enjoy complete control over their apartment’s central air conditioning. Since all utilities are included in their monthly maintenance, there’s no fretting over a hefty month-end bill.
