We’re Gearing Up for the Holidays

Crane’s Mill residents really have it made in the winter. With the holidays right around the corner (can you believe Thanksgiving is this week?), we thought it might be fun to take a look at some of the annual traditions here at Crane’s Mill.

Crane's Mill residents raise a glass to the holidays in Towne Square.

First, there are always multiple holiday-themed performances, both on and off campus. In Hinman Hall, musical performances from pianists, jazz and choral groups are common throughout the year, and in December the usual jazz and pop standards give way to holiday favorites.

Off campus, our residents enjoy trips to the Paper Mill Playhouse, NJPAC, and New York Philharmonic, among other local and regional theaters and performance centers. The best thing about these excursions? Transportation is fully included. So, if you’re headed out to see the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, the Crane’s Mill bus takes you (quite literally) from door-to-door from Towne Square to Radio City Music Hall.

Holiday dinners are of course another tradition here at Crane’s Mill. On Christmas Day, residents play host to their families and friends in the Candleberry Dining Room for a grand Christmas feast. It’s always fun to see grandchildren, and great-grandchildren enjoying a wondrous Christmas Day with their proud grandmothers and grandfathers looking on.

On New Year’s Eve, residents are looking forward to the annual cocktail party. Each year, Crane’s Mill is transformed into a festive venue for a giant reception featuring fun drinks, passed hors d’oeuvres, food stations, a raw bar, and so much more!

Truly, life at Crane’s Mill over the holidays is luxurious, vivacious, and rich with tradition. Interested in joining the fun? Call us at 973-276-3001 or click here to send us an email.
