Crane’s Mill on the Move: Summer in Vermont

Crane’s Mill residents are always looking for fun new places to go and things to do. This summer, a jaunt to Vermont is on order.

Crane's Mill on the move—Vermont, here we come!

There’s nothing like a vacation with close friends and family. Even for Crane’s Mill residents, who truly “have it all” at their home, it’s nice to get away for a few days and make new memories with the ones they love.

This month, adventurous Crane’s Mill residents are spending some time in Vermont. The tour, coordinated by our Activities Director, spans 4 days and 3 nights, and includes luxury transportation, exquisite accommodations and fabulous meals.

Here is a look at just some of the fun stops on the trip. We have included links to each so you can find out more about any that interest you:

A tour of the Hildene—the ancestral home of Robert Todd Lincoln
The Morgan Horse Farm
Danforth Pewter
Von Trapp Lodge—yes, that Von Trapp family!
Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream Factory—yum!!
Shelburne Museum
Cruise on Lake Champlain
Middlebury College Art Museum—a look at Edward Hopper in Vermont
Sugarbush Cheese and Maple Syrup Farm—free samples and fantastic views!

We hope you can come on our next trip away! We usually plan at least 2 per year. As a Crane’s Mill resident, of course you’re invited and encouraged to attend. Find out more about how you can become a resident by calling us at 973-276-3001 or click here to send us an email to request more information. We look forward to hearing from you!
