AARP Smart Driver Class at Crane’s Mill

AARP Smart Driver Class

An AARP Smart Driver class will be held at Crane’s Mill on Wednesday, January 13th and Friday, January 15th from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM. The course will occur in the Activities Room.

Cars have changed. So have traffic rules, driving conditions, and the roads you travel every day. Even the most experienced drivers can benefit from brushing up on their driving skills.

By taking the AARP Smart Driver course, you’ll learn the current rules of the road, defensive driving techniques and how to operate your vehicle more safely in today’s increasingly challenging driving environment.

Participants receive a certificate upon completion for a premium reduction for 3 years from their insurance carrier (call your insurance carrier to determine your specific discount for completing a “Defensive Driving” class).

There are NO tests to pass.

The fee for the course is $15.00 for AARP members and $20.00 for non-AARP members, payable upon registering. Pre-registration is required and class size is limited. There are only a handful of available seats left. Checks should be made payable to “AARP”. Cash is not accepted.

Seats in the class are available on a first come-first served basis. Participants must attend both classes. To register, contact Meredith Wu at 973-276-3012. Payment can be brought with you to class after your registration has been confirmed by Meredith.
