Swallowing Challenge

Members of the Crane’s Mill Health Center participated in the “Thickened Liquid Challenge” sponsored by the National Foundation of Swallowing Disorders (NFOSD) on February 27, 2015.

By encouraging health care professionals to support this effort, the NFOSD hopes to increase swallowing disorder awareness; demonstrate patient unity with the millions of Americans who consume thickened liquids daily due to swallowing disorders; and provide education about the types of thickeners available. The challenge ran through March 7.
