Urogynecologist Visits Crane’s Mill

“What is a Urogynecologist?” Residents and guests of Crane’s Mill learned the answer directly from a top practitioner in the field from Mountainside Medical Center.

Dr. Nyarai Mushonga, a urogynecologist which is a surgeon who specializes in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery, was the guest speaker on June 26 in Hinman Hall.  With offices in West Orange, she is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and board-eligible in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery.  Her presentation targeted ways to manage urinary incontinence.  She is pictured with Rachel Teixeira, BSN, RN, assistant director of nursing at the Crane’s Mill Health Center, and Louise Collins, an independent living resident.
