Lutheran Social Ministries of New Jersey

Since 1904, Lutheran Social Ministries of New Jersey has been reaching out in love and service to those in the state who are in need of compassionate care and support. Begun as an orphanage, LSMNJ has broadened its focus to serve the growing needs and changing face of New Jersey’s population based on our Mission Statement and the values and beliefs outlined in our Values Statement. Crane’s Mill’s connection with LSMNJ as a governing board helps continue that outreach.

Responding to the ever-changing needs of New Jersey residents, Lutheran Social Ministries of NJ provides a broad range of programs and services. At 20 locations across our state, LSMNJ annually makes a difference in the lives of more than 8,300 individuals.

Our partnership with individuals, corporations, and congregations through volunteer activities, gifts-in-kind, and financial contributions, helps Lutheran Social Ministries of New Jersey to continue our work of reaching out to those who hurt, who are in need, or who have limited choices.
