Crane’s Mill’s five-star Health Center offers superior hands-on care. Rachel Teixeira, the Director of Nursing for our skilled nursing unit, has been with Crane’s Mill since summer 2021. Originally inspired to pursue nursing as a profession by her childhood experiences with the nurses who guided, taught, and cared for her, Rachel spent nine years as an emergency room nurse before seeking a nursing leadership position that brought her to Crane’s Mill.

“As I learned more about the work during my time here, I started to really enjoy it,” she shares. “I love being able to work with the nurses to provide the right education, training, and staffing—everything we need to provide the best service possible to residents.” We are grateful for the inspiration Rachel gives our team.
