Crane’s Mill is the top retirement community in Essex County—and the community’s activity calendar is a big reason why. Crane’s Mill Residents On The Move: Ogunquit, Maine

Residents at Crane’s Mill Retirement Community enjoy a full calendar of independent living activities, from on-campus fun to off-campus getaways. This Fall saw a trip to Vacationland! From September 3 through 6, a group of Crane’s Mill residents, along with Director of Resident Programming Meredith Wu, took a lovely trip to Ogunquit, Maine. Attendees of the trip stayed at the lovely Meadowmere Resort Hotel in Ogunquit. Crane’s Mill residents are on their way to take in the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra…how are you spending your Thursday afternoon? Just another ho-hum Thursday afternoon in West Caldwell … or is it? A number of residents are boarding a luxury coach to nearby Newark to enjoy the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center. Crane’s Mill on the Move: Residents Take Trips, Stay Active All December Long

Each month, we enjoy reading the resident-produced MillStream newsletter. In addition to brimming with fun articles and and updates from around the community, the MillStream features a calendar complete with each day’s events and activities. Included are such standards as daily exercise classes, weekly happy hour in The Cherry Blossom Lounge, and of course every Friday there is Trail Walking with the wonderful Mike Mazur. You will also find special events and trips. Today, the Crane’s Mill sent a full bus of residents to tour historic Gracie Mansion.
