Falls: Reduce The Risk

Crane’s Mill and Saint Barnabas Medical Center present a special program focused on fall prevention in seniors.

Join Rosann Kravetz Toma, PT, DPT, a physical therapist at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ, for this informative presentation.  Dr. Kravetz Toma will visit Crane’s Mill on August 7th to discuss:

  • Reducing fall risks
  • Home and community safety
  • Postural awareness
  • Recommended exercises to reduce fall risks
  • Procedures to follow in the event of a fall

Dr. Kravetz Toma has more than 20 years practice as a physical therapist.  Her experience includes working in both acute care medical centers and home care environments.  She received her physical therapy degree from Downstate Medical Center, State University of New York in Brooklyn, NY, and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of New England, ME.  For the past 15 years, she has worked at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ, with a variety of different patients with neurological disorders, orthopedic surgeries, and medical conditions.  She has extensive experience in the area of falls and fall prevention.
