Holiday Happenings: Crane’s Mill Residents Celebrate All Month Long
Crane’s Mill is the top retirement community in Essex County—and the community’s activity calendar is a big reason why.

Each month, our director of activities works with our residents to create a full calendar of events. In December, the calendar has a number of fun holiday events! Here is a quick rundown:
December 3—Crane’s Mill Chorus & Tree Lighting
December 7—Oliver at the Paper Mill Playhouse
December 9—Lakeland Youth Symphony Orchestra
December 11—Holiday Cookie Exchange
December 14—Pericles at the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey
December 18—Christmas in Lancaster, a full day excursion to this wonderful winter spot
December 19—Hot cocoa and carols in Towne Square
December 20—Pianist Matt King
December 25—Christmas Dinner
December 26—Pianist/Vocalist Joan Streit
December 31—New Year’s Eve Cocktail Party and the Dean Tomanelli Jazz Trio
Plus, there are religious services throughout the month, and many trips for holiday shopping, including an outing to the Christmas Tree Shoppe—a resident favorite.
