Happy Mother’s Day from Crane’s Mill

It’s the second Sunday in May, and you can bet it’s the most colorful time of year for the Crane’s Mill concierge desk, as it’s replete with flower arrangements featuring springtime favorites moms everywhere.

Mother’s Day, spelled in the singular possessive to ensure that each individual mother is celebrated, officially began as a national holiday in the U.S. in 1914, and is celebrated in countries around the world.

It’s a hugely popular holiday here at Crane’s Mill, with residents receiving gifts and cards all week long in advance of the big day.

In addition to flowers and candy, we’ve seen yummy fruit arrangements, house plants, and even gifts straight from Amazon and Macy’s.
