Crane’s Mill Offered Free Tax Preparation for Area Seniors

As part of AARP Tax Aide, Crane’s Mill served as a tax preparation location for West Essex seniors.

Each Friday afternoon beginning on February 8, 2019, Crane’s Mill, in partnership with AARP, provided free tax preparation service for area seniors. The Tax Aide program provides preparation and filing help to those in need. With the adoption of new laws and guidelines for the 2018 tax year, this year’s sessions were well attended.

Volunteers included Crane’s Mill residents and friendly folks from outside the community. Some were experienced, retired tax professionals, while others were simply there to lend a helping hand.
