The flexible meal plan at Crane’s Mill affords its independent living residents the ability to dine in the Candleberry Dining every single night, with enough left over each quarter for some goodies from the Corner Market, or a special evening or two in 4 Five 9.
However, many residents enjoy the freedom of using the flexible meal plan in many different ways, including taking advantage of the outstanding food and service at the Heartwood Cafe.
Open three times every day of the week, the Heartwood Cafe offers our residents so many great options including an assortment of hot and cold breakfast options (think of your favorite New Jersey Diner!), a full salad bar, sandwich station, grill and homemade pizza for lunch, and dinners including the same entrees being served in the Candleberry.
Plus, every day there are special lunch entrees that range from baked haddock and sweet & sour pork to jambalaya and turkey pot pie. Here is a look at the specials on the board for today, Thursday, September 12:
