Did You Know? Towne Square at Crane’s Mill Plays Host to Monthly Art Exhibits
The Koether Art Gallery at Crane’s Mill is Named for this Special Area’s Original Curator
Walking through Towne Square at Crane’s Mill for the first time can be breathtaking. From the grand entrance way with reclaimed wood to the dining venues and fitness center, it seems there is something fun, interesting or delicious at each turn.
What visitors may not know is that in the hall near the library and gift shop is an art gallery featuring an ever-changing roster of artists.
The Koether Art Gallery, named for late Crane’s Mill residents and gallery curator Mary Koether, displays an array of visual treats including oil paintings, photography and more, providing residents access to museum-quality artwork right at their own front door. In fact, since Towne Square is attached to every Crane’s Mill apartment, one doesn’t need to go outside to enjoy the artwork.
The gallery is open 7 days a week from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., so please feel free to stop by to see this colorful exhibit for yourself. It’s the perfect way to spend a chilly January afternoon.
