*Pennsylvania State Capital Building – Guided tour – A National Historic Landmark, designated to be a Palace of Art. Designed in a variety of Renaissance styles, such as American, French, English and Italian. A grand marble staircase was inspired by one in a Parisian Opera House. Highlights include stunning stained glass windows, classic paintings & furnishings. The 272ft dome was modeled on Rome’s St. Peter’s Basilica. 

Butterfly Atrium at Hershey Gardens – Overlooking the town of Hershey, visit an indoor Butterfly Atrium, with breathtaking assortment of flowers and rare signature trees. View over 400 tropical and North American varieties. See various beautiful varieties of butterflies fluttering around you. 

*Hershey Sweet Lights – A Winter Wonderland Holiday Drive-thru Spectacular. Enjoy illuminated, animated displays from the warm comfort of your bus, driving very slowly thru 2 miles of wooded trails. It’s spectacular! You will hear OOOS and Ahhh throughout your tour. 

*Trolley Tour of Chocolate Town – Guided Trolley ride through downtown Hershey. The story of Hershey begins with the tale of one determined pioneer: Learn how Milton Hershey overcame the odds to become not only one of America’s wealthiest entrepreneurs, but also the visionary builder of a town and philanthropist who’s open-hearted generosity still touches the lives of thousands. A dream, a vision realized. Unable to have children of their own, in 1909, the Hersheys decided to use their wealth to create a home and school for orphaned boys. Learn about the history of the school, as well as the values practiced by Milton and his wife….. On board a trolley that’s lots of fun, fun, fun! Smell the chocolate! 

*The Museum on Chocolate Ave – “The Hershey Story” – Learn about a living legacy and how Milton Hershey went from bankruptcy to brilliance……how he invented a community and gave away his fortune..…twice. See how the power of promotion worked. The museum tells you a pivotal part of Milton Hershey’s amazing journey from rags to riches. Be fascinated, inspired and filled with wonder, as you explore and learn about the man, the company and the town. Self-guided. 

Chocolate World – Take a trip on a completely re-imagined Hershey Tour Tram Ride – Embark on a journey, view animated characters showing how chocolate is made. A chocolate-inspired adventure to remember! (Indoors)

“Elaine Tours, LLC” and bring the check to Nicole in the Activities Office. 

Rollator walkers are welcome on this trip, and travelers who use one are encouraged to bring it for comfort and safety. Travelers must be able to independently get on and off the bus and handle the moderate amount of walking. There are places to sit down where walking is required. 

Travel protection/cancellation insurance must be purchased within 20 days of the date that you paid for the trip to insure full and proper coverage (coverage will not be affected by pre-existing medical conditions).
